Yuba-Sutter High Wheelers News Release

The Yuba-Sutter High Wheelers just delivered one of the most dominant offensive stretches in professional baseball history.

Over six games on the road in Grand Junction, the High Wheelers exploded for 121 total runs - a number believed to be the highest single-week total ever recorded across Major League Baseball, Minor League Baseball, or any independent league, breaking the previous professional baseball record of 96 runs in a single week - set by the 1930 New York Yankees - by a staggering 25 runs..

The offensive onslaught powered the club to a 5-1 series win, strengthening their playoff push and fueling excitement ahead of their return home to Bryant Field on July 29.

"This wasn't just a hot streak - it was historic," said General Manager Erik Gardner. "It's a testament to the work this group has put in and the energy they're bringing to the Yuba-Sutter community."
