Bloomington PrairieThunder News Release
Gerry Hetz of Eureka became the second fan in the last two Bloomington PrairieThunder games to have a glow about her after winning a diamond ring Thursday night during the PrairieThunder hockey game at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
Hetz won a one-third carat diamond ring valued at $1,500, compliments of Jack Lewis Fine Jewelry, during the "Jack Lewis Diamond on Ice" promotion. Hetz was blind-folded at center ice and had 30 seconds to find the box the ring was in, which was placed at the far end of the ice.
Last week Tracy Severns of Bloomington won an identical ring during the same between period promotion.
