GAME DAY: HERSEY BEARS VS. ALBANY DEVILS

Times Union Center - 7 PM

ALBANY, NY -- Nearly a week has passed since the Albany Devils last game, which was a 4-0 road loss against the Hershey Bears Saturday. Now the Devils return to Times Union Center Friday for a 7 pm out against the Bears. So far this season, home ice has been kind to the Devils, who are 4-1-0-0. Their path to a fifth victory is against a team that has won five straight games and has points in eight consecutive contests.

- WHAT TO WATCH FOR

Between the Pipes: Scott Wedgewood is expected to start for the Devils and make his eighth appearance this season. The netminder, who is two wins shy of his 50th career AHL victory, is 3-3-0 this season with a .2.35 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage.

Back on the Blueline: Karl Stollery, who missed last Saturday's game with a lower-body injury, is expected to make his return this weekend. The 28-year-old leads the Devils with a +5 rating. Also back with the team is Vojtech Mozik, who has missed the last two games on a recall. Mozik is second on the team with a +4 rating and ranks second all-time on the AHL Devils' +/- list with a +32.

Last Meeting: Friday's game will be the final meeting between the Devils and Bears this season. During their game last week, the Bears scored three goals in a three minute and six second span during the first period en route to victory.
