
Herd Loses Second Matchup with the Knicks

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, lost to the Westchester Knicks 105-100. The Herd had the largest lead of the game by 25 points in the third quarter. The Knicks outscored the Herd 37-14 in the fourth quarter to win the game.
Tiwian Kendley led the Herd with 30 points while Wenyen Gabriel added a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Marcus Graves posted 15 points in his Herd debut.
Tyler Hall led the Westchester Knicks with 31 points followed by Dewan Hernandez with 25 points.
Tiwian Kendley hit a three to put the Herd on the board 3-0 to start the game. The Herd built their lead going up 21-15 with four minutes left in the first quarter. Tiwian Kendley converted his second three of the quarter to put the Herd up 31-19. The Herd held on to lead at the end of the first quarter 31-20.
The Knicks came within six points, but the Herd held them off to go up by 10 with seven and a half minutes left in the second quarter. The Herd continued to build their lead to 14 with two minutes left. With one minute left the Herd had their largest lead of the half 54-36. The Herd held on to their 18-point lead at the half, 56-38. Tiwian Kendley led the Herd with 15 points in the first half.
Marcus Graves hit a three-point shot to put the Herd up 70-49 with six and a half minutes left in the third quarter. The Herd continued their success to go up 76-54 with four minutes left. The Herd ended the third quarter 86-68.
The Knicks came within seven points with eight and a half minutes left in the fourth quarter. With five minutes left in the game, the Herd led 93-89. The Knicks came within one point with three minutes left, but Tiwian Kendley hit a three to put the Herd up by four. The Herd led by one with 45 seconds left. The Knicks hit a three to take the lead 102-100 and held on to win the game 105-100.
The Wisconsin Herd will play next on the road when they face the Grand Rapids Gold on March 1st with tip-off set for 6:00 p.m. CST.
