
Brian Bowen II Returns to Iowa Wolves After Team USA Assignment; Wolves Waive Malik Benlevi

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves, NBA G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, today announced forward Brian Bowen II has rejoined the team after his second Team USA World Cup Qualifying assignment. Bowen II helped Team USA go 2-0 with wins over Mexico and Puerto Rico in his second Team USA assignment this season. In addition, Iowa waived forward Malik Benlevi.
Bowen has played in 10 regular season games for the Wolves. He is averaging 16.5 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
Benlevi appeared in 16 regular season games for the Wolves. He averaged 5.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in 13.8 minutes per game.
Iowa plays at the Salt Lake City Stars tonight at 8 p.m. CT.
