
Henrich and Hrdel Assigned to Johnstown

Johnstown, PA (October 17, 2006) - The Johnstown Chiefs today received forwards Zbynek Hrdel and Adam Henrich from their AHL affiliate, the Springfield Falcons.
Selected in the 9th round (286th overall) by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Hrdel spent the bulk of the 2005-06 season with Springfield, scoring five goals and 10 assists while appearing in 45 games for the Falcons. In 15 regular season games last season with the Chiefs, the native of Pisek, Czech Republic scored six goals and added five assists, while in four Kelly Cup Playoff games he scored a goal and added two assists.
A native of Thornhill, Ontario, Henrich was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2nd round (60th overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. Henrich scored 41 points (18g, 23) in 51 games with the Chiefs last season, and picked up three assists in 12 games with Springfield. In his rookie season in 2004-05, Henrich scored 26 points (10g, 16a) in 63 games with Springfield and scored two goals and an assist in six games with Johnstown.
The Johnstown Chiefs, "AA" affiliate of the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning, begin their 19th season as a member of the ECHL on October 21, 2006 at the Cambria County War Memorial in downtown Johnstown against the Pensacola Ice Pilots.
