
Salmon Kings shape regular season roster

Victoria Salmon Kings News Release
Victoria, BC- The Victoria Salmon Kings, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Vancouver Canucks and the AHL's Manitoba Moose, announced today that they have made the end of training camp roster trim for the 2006-07 season.
Victoria has released three contracted players from training camp: Brad Cook (D), Joel Irwin (F), and Louis-Philippe Martin (F).
The Salmon Kings are preparing for their regular season opening series on the road in Alaska with practices today and tomorrow at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
The Salmon Kings were 2-1-1 in their last two series versus the Aces in the 2005-06 season. The defending Kelly Cup champs will host Victoria for a two-game series on October 20 and 21. Both games start at 7:15 (AKT).
