Henley Reassigned to Lynx

AUGUSTA, Ga..− The Augusta Lynx have announced that the Tampa Bay Lightning of the NHL have reassigned defenseman Brent Henley from the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL to Augusta.

Henley, 28, has 51 penalty minutes in four games with the Admirals this season. The 6-foot-7, 250-pound native of Coquitlam, B.C., has 964 penalty and 31 points (six goals, 25 assists) in 174 career ECHL games with Jackson, South Carolina, Greenville, Phoenix, Utah, and Pensacola from 2001-02 through 2006-07. Henley also has 196 penalty minutes and five points (one goal, four assists) in 50 career AHL games with Lowell, Rochester, Toronto, Edmonton, Springfield and Norfolk from 2002-03 through 2008-09.

The Lynx return to the James Brown Arena on Friday, Nov. 21st to take on the Florida Everblades at 7:30 p.m. for Easy Street Magazine night. The Lynx continue their homestand against the Everblades on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7:00 p.m. for Scout Night and Hockey With a Heart, presented by the American Heart Association. The Lynx host the Dayton Bombers on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 4:00 p.m., and players will be available for autographs on the ice following the game.
