Dayton Bombers News Release

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Bombers announced today that the National Hockey League's Florida Panthers have recalled goaltender Tyler Plante. He will appear in tonight's Panthers game against the Tampa Bay Lightning in a back up role to Craig Anderson, who is expected to start.

Plante, a second round (#32 overall) draft selection of the Panthers in 2005, was reassigned to the Bombers from the Rochester Americans on Tuesday.

Plante split time last season between the Americans and the Florida Everblades. He previously spent four seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the WHL, where he was named Rookie of the Year in 2004

The Panthers anticipate Plante's return to Dayton prior to the Bombers' three-game weekend.

In a separate transaction, the Bombers placed forward Brett Connolly on waivers today. Connolly skated in seven games for Dayton but did not record any points.
