Hemingway reassigned

WORCESTER, MA – St. Louis Blues Senior Vice President/General Manager and Worcester IceCats General Manager of Hockey Operations Larry Pleau announced today that the Blues have reassigned right wing Colin Hemingway to the IceCats ECHL affiliate, the Peoria (IL) Rivermen.

Drafted by the St. Louis Blues with their 7th choice, 221st overall in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Hemingway has appeared in three games for the IceCats this season and has not recorded a point. The 24-year old native of Regina, Saskatchewan has skated in 16 IceCats games over parts of two seasons, notching two goals and 11 penalty minutes: 16(2/0/2)11. The former University of New Hampshire product played 36 games last season with the Rivermen, registering 20 goals, 24 assists and 34 penalty minutes: 36(20/24/44)34.

The IceCats next home game is tonight at 7:05 PM against the Houston Aeros. The ‘Cats also play the Manchester Monarchs on Friday and Portland on Saturday. Both of those games also have a Centrum Centre start time of 7:05 PM.
