Jason LaBarbera and Josh Harding dueled to a scoreless tie for 65 minutes on Monday before Hartford edged Houston in a shootout for a 1-0 win... Simon Gamache's goal gave Milwaukee its third overtime win of the year, a 2-1 decision over San Antonio on Monday... Hamilton got a pair of shorthanded goals, including one on a Chris Higgins penalty shot, in a 5-1 win over Cleveland on Tuesday.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Syracuse and Edmonton clash again at Rexall Place on Wednesday, one night after the Road Runners' exciting 2-1 shootout win over the Crunch... Tyler Moss got a head start on the shootout by denying Jeff Panzer on a penalty shot in overtime after Panzer was pulled down on a breakaway... Edmonton's Brad Winchester and Syracuse's Aaron Johnson traded goals in regulation... The win snapped a three-game slide and moved the Road Runners into a tie for first place in the North Division... Doug Lynch had an assist for Edmonton to run his scoring streak to five games.
Philadelphia skates on Spectrum ice for the first time this season as Cincinnati pays a visit on Wednesday night... The Phantoms are 2-0-0-0 at home this year, with both games played across the parking lot at the Wachovia Center... The Mighty Ducks are 3-19-3 all-time in Philadelphia (including playoffs), but are off to a 5-2-0-0 start to the 2004-05 season... Joffrey Lupul is leading Cincinnati in scoring with six points this year... Patrick Sharp has a point in each of the Phantoms' six games and eight straight regular-season AHL games overall.
Utah's quest for its first win of the year moves to Winnipeg, where the Manitoba Moose await for the first of a two-game set on Thursday night... The Moose, looking for their first home win of the year, are on a three-game winning streak, and continue to ride the hot hands of Jason King and Peter Sarno, who sit atop the AHL's scoring race with 17 points each... Manitoba ranks third in the league in offense, scoring 3.73 goals per game, while the Grizzlies are 28th in defense, giving up 4.43 goals per contest... Moose blueliner Nolan Baumgartner is tied for the league scoring lead among defensemen with 10 points.
