
'Cats community reading program

Worcester IceCats News Release
WORCESTER, MA- The IceCats today released the fine points of âCat Tales', a community reading program. In conjunction with the Millbury Public Library and the Worcester Public Library, youngsters will have an opportunity to participate in a monthly reading curriculum.
Beginning Thursday evening at 6:00 PM in Millbury, children will be able to listen to players read a selection of books. IceCats 2003-2004 Rookie of the Year Mike Glumac will read until 6:30 PM and then will entertain questions. In addition, Glumac and IceCats mascot Scratch will sign autographs after the reading.
Johnny Pohl will kick off the Worcester Public Library based readings on November 10th. Pohl will begin reading at 6:00 PM and will also have a question and answer period and an autograph signing with Scratch.
All sessions are free and open to the public.
Worcester Public Library
6:00 to 7:00 PM
November 10th, December 30th, January 20th, February 23rd and March 24th.
Millbury Public Library
6:00 to 7:00 PM
November 4th, December 29th, January 27th, February 16th and March 8th.
