
Heller, Roo Honored by the NAHL

The North American Hockey League announced the Easton Divisional Stars of the Week on Monday. Making the list were two Aberdeen Wings forwards with honorable mentions.
#15 Jordan Heller (F-Bemidji, MN) received the honor after a three goal, two assist weekend against Brookings. Friday night, Heller scored on the power play to help the Wings to a 4-2 win. Late in the third period Saturday, Heller scored another power play goal to solidify a 5-1 win for the Wings.
#11 TJ Roo (F-Coon Rapids, MN) had an impressive weekend as well including two goals and three assists. His goal Saturday would help set the pace towards a 5-1 win for the Wings over the Blizzard.
Both Heller and Roo announced their commitment to play Division I hockey this year for Bemidji State University. Assistant captain Heller currently has 19 goals and 27 assists for 46 points this season. In his rookie season, Roo has compiled a team leading 51 points with 21 goals and 30 assists.
The Aberdeen Wings are at home this Friday and Saturday against the Minnesota Magicians. The doors to the Odde Ice Center open at 5:30pm with happy hour beer specials. Puck drop is set for 7:15pm both nights. Come early and see the league's top rated show.
