Springfield Jr. Blues News Release
The Springfield Jr. Blue's own team captain Jack Sloan, assistant captain Josh Lammon, Les Lancaster, Stefanos Lekkas, Brenden Jacques, Mike Mylchreest, Kyle Meeh, and Joe Carney were guest chefs at the Ronald McDonald House in downtown Springfield.ÃÂ The players prepared a delicious menu using Coach Breen's famous Spaghetti and Meatball recipe, accompanied by Italian style garlic bread.ÃÂ After an informative tour of the building Coach and Players worked as a team to put together a meal for the families staying at the house.
ÃÂ "We felt great about the team giving back to the community and the families at the Ronald McDonald House.ÃÂ We hope the simple meal we prepared made one or all the families day a little brighter." Said Jack Sloan, Springfield Jr. Blues team captain.
