
Wild Goaltender Makes College Committment

Wenatchee, WA. - Wenatchee Wild goaltender Chase Perry has signed to play college hockey next season with the Colorado College Tigers.
The 18 year old Perry, a 6'2", 191 lb. native of Andover, Minnesota, is in his first year with the Wild and sports a goals against average of 2.32 and a saves percentage of .907. Wenatchee Wild Assistant Coach Chris Clark says of Perry, "We are extremely happy for Chase and can't wait to see him continue his career at Colorado College next fall. Chase has worked extremely hard from day one way back in August. It is great that all his hard work has resulted in him getting the opportunity to play for the Tigers next season. Colorado College is not only getting a fantastic goalie but an even better person." The Tigers compete in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference with Denver, Miami Ohio, Minnesota Duluth, Nebraska Omaha, North Dakota, St. Cloud State and Western Michigan.
The Wild hosts the Port Huron Fighting Falcons on Friday and Saturday, March 21st and 22nd, then wrap up the regular season by hosting the Aberdeen Wings on Friday and Saturday, March 28th and 29th. Individual and group game tickets for all home games are on sale now. Call 509.888.PUCK (7825).
