July 21, 2019 - Atlantic League (AtL)
High Point Rockers News Release
High Point, NC - Due to the extreme heat conditions in the Piedmont Triad region, today's Atlantic League game between the High Point Rockers and Somerset Patriots has been changed from a 9-inning contest to a 7-inning game. First pitch will still be at 2:00pm from BB&T Point. The decision was made in conjunction with the league office in the interest of player and fan safety.
The Rockers will play 15 of their next 21 games at home, including todays game. Sunday marks "Princess Day" with all fans encouraged to dress up as their favorite princess and meet both Belle and Jasmine at BB&T Point! It's also another Family Funday, presented by Bethany Medical Center featuring a post-game Kids Run The Bases. Gates will open at 1:30pm. Tickets can be purchased at the Rockers box office, located on Gatewood Avenue, by calling (336) 888-1000, or by sliding to www.HighPointRockers.com.
