Heat Recall Heard from Adirondack

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL's Calgary Flames, announce that the team has recalled forward Mitchell Heard from his loan to the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL.

Heard, 22, made his Heat debut in San Jose on December 27, 2015 and earned his first AHL point of the season, an assist, on December 29, 2015 at home against Ontario. The second rounder (#41 overall) by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft has played 4 games with the Heat this season while suiting up for 33 games with the Adirondack Thunder (ECHL), currently ranking second on the team with 12 goals and 32 points while leading the team with 20 assists.

The Heat return home on this Saturday and Sunday to host the Ontario Reign and San Antonio Rampage. It's Emile Poirier bobblehead night on Saturday, February 13, where the first 500 children 12-years and younger will receive a bobblehead featuring the Calgary Flames first round pick in 2013. On Saturday only, doors will open early as fans can begin filtering into Stockton Arena and collecting their giveaways starting at 6:00 p.m.

On Sunday, February 14, the first 1,000 fans will receive a team photo featuring the inaugural season's opening night roster.
