
Heat Lose Home Opener 9-4 to Utica City FC

Harrisburg Heat News Release
Utica City FC defeated the Harrisburg Heat 9-4 in the home opener at Equine Arena. Utica was lead in scoring by Patrick Thompson and Joey Tavernese who each recorded two goals. Additional goals for Utica were scored by Slavisa Ubiparipovic, Nate Bordeau, Christhian Segura, Issak Somow, and Quenton Swift.
Goal scorers for the Harrisburg Heat were Bradley Kerstetter, Michael Cunningham, David Mellor, and JJ Gibson. Dominic Francis and Malcom Harris each had an assist for the Heat. Darian McCauley had eight saves in the net for the Heat while Brian Wilkin recorded seven saves for Utica City.
The Harrisburg Heat are off until January 8th when they travel to Baltimore to play against the Blast. The next Heat home game is Saturday January 22nd at the Equine Arena. Game time is 7:05pm.
