
Heat Lose Heartbreaker to Utica City FC 5-4

Utica City FC defeated the Harrisburg Heat 5-4 on Friday evening in the Heat's first game of the year played in Utica, New York. Moises Gonzalez scored the game winner on a power play for Utica with twenty seconds to play in the fourth quarter. Gonzalez led the Utica squad with two goals and one assist. Christian Segura also had a goal and two assists in the game. Bo Jelovic and Logan Roberts also chipped in with one goal each. Goalkeeper Brian Wilkin recorded 19 saves in the win for Utica.
Harrisburg Heat goals were scored by Michael Cunningham with two along with David Mellor and Matt Braem with one each. Dominic Francis and Jeremy Ortiz each recorded one assist. William Banahene had an excellent evening with twenty-one saves in the goal for the Heat.
The Heat scored on two top of the box free kicks while Utica scored on three power plays. Harrisburg had four blue card penalties while Utica City FC had one.
The Harrisburg Heat and Utica City FC return to Harrisburg for the rematch Saturday evening at the Equine Arena in the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex.
