Harrisburg Heat News Release
The Harrisburg Heat gave up 6 unanswered goals in the 2nd and 3rd quarters Thursday night to lose 10-3 in Syracuse. Jerjer Gibson scored 3 goals for the Silver Knights (9-7). The Heat got goals from Patrick Thompson, Derrick Long, and Val Teixeira. The loss is the 15th of the season for the winless Heat. Syracuse outshot Harrisburg 31-13 as Scott Krotee made 21 saves in a losing effort.
The Heat still have two remaining matches against the playoff bound Silver Knights including next Friday night at home. Harrisburg's next game is Sunday afternoon at 5:05 in Baltimore against the first place Blast.
