Heat Announce Eight Player Assignments

Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat announced today that they have assigned seven players to the Alaska Aces, the Heat's developmental affiliate in the East Coast Hockey League, and one to the Bakersfield Condors (ECHL).

The Heat continues preparations for the season opening weekend on October 4th and 5th in Cleveland against the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL affiliate to the Colorado Avalanche). The Heat home opener weekend is October 11th and 12th against the Milwaukee Admirals at 7:00PM, featuring an autograph session with NHL legend Guy Lafleur.
