Crunch Assign Nielsen to Florida Everblades

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Crunch have reassigned forward Carl Nielsen the Florida Everblades of the ECHL, Crunch general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.
Nielson, 25, made two Crunch appearances last season, where he went scoreless. The 6-foot-4, 225 lb, forward spent most of the 2012-13 season with the Michigan Tech Huskies of the WCHA. The Lorian, OH native collected 20 points (4g, 16a) in his 140 career appearances with the Huskies.
The Crunch kick-off the 2013-14 season with a visit to the Binghamton Senators on Oct. 5 followed by their Upstate Medical University home opener on Oct. 12 against the Rochester Americans. Season tickets for 2013-14 can be purchased either in person at the Crunch Box Office located at the War Memorial on 800 South State Street in Syracuse, or by calling the office at (315) 473- 4444.
