Head Coach Neville, Pizarro and Mota Named to MLS Team of the Matchday

Inter Miami CF head coach Phill Neville along with midfielders Rodolfo Pizarro and Jean Mota have been named in the Team of the Matchday for matchday 2 of the 2023 MLS regular season. The trio secured their spots in the side after Inter Miami's 2-0 win over the Philadelphia Union on Saturday to continue the team's winning start to the season.

Neville makes his first appearance in an MLS Team of the Matchday this season after leading Inter Miami to a perfect start to the season, with the team claiming two wins and registering two clean sheets in its first games of the campaign.

Pizarro earned a spot in the starting XI of the Team of the Matchday after a strong performance against the Union in which he assisted Corentin Jean for the opening goal to register his first assist of the season.

Mota, meanwhile, features on the bench after assisting Robert Taylor for the team's second goal of the night to record his second assist of the season, while also finishing the match with an 80.4% pass completion rate.
