Head Coach Neville, Campana and Negri Named to MLS Team of the Matchday

Inter Miami CF head coach Phil Neville, forward Leonardo Campana and defender Franco Negri have been named in the Team of the Matchday for Matchday 10 of the MLS 2023 regular season. The trio earned their spots in the side following their instrumental roles in Inter Miami's 1-2 win over Columbus Crew at Lower.com Field as the team returned to winning ways.
Neville earns MLS Team of the Matchday honors for the second time this regular season after leading Inter Miami to its first win on the road in 2023. Prior to falling to Inter Miami, the Crew hadn't lost at home this campaign.
Campana secured his place in the Team of the Matchday starting XI after his pivotal attacking performance, bagging a brace in the first half against the Crew. The striker first netted with a tidy finish inside the box to open the scoring in the seventh minute, and then reestablished the team's lead in the 41st minute through a header from a corner kick opportunity. The goals were Campana's first in 2023.
Negri, meanwhile, features on the bench of the team and tallies his second Team of the Matchday designation in the 2023 MLS regular season. The left back put in an energetic shift both in defense and offense to help the team claim its first win on the road of the campaign and finished the match with an 80.7% pass completion rate.
Inter Miami has now had at least one representative on the Team of the Matchday six times this season, with a total of 11 selections.
