Head Coach Daniel Lacroix and Assistant Coach Josh Hepditch Return with the Wildcats

Moncton - The Moncton Wildcats are pleased to announce that Head Coach, Daniel Lacroix, and Assistant Coach, Josh Hepditch, will return behind the bench for the Moncton Wildcats.
"Dan and Josh have established great relationships with our players and are focused on their personal development on and off the ice," said Robert K. Irving, President of the Moncton Wildcats. "We're excited to see the team continue to be successful under their leadership."
Lacroix will be entering his second full season as Head Coach after joining the team in December 2019. Since then, he has guided the team to 37 wins and 25 losses in 62 regular season games.
The past season was a challenge for everyone in the sports industry. However, the leadership provided by the coaching staff helped propel and develop the newest group of young players, as the team gets ready for the next era of Wildcats hockey.
Josh Hepditch will continue his duties as Assistant Coach, leading the team's defence. Entering his fifth season behind the bench, Josh continues to lead and inspire the next generation of Wildcats. Having played for the team from 2002-2006, he is able to bring a first-hand perspective to the group.
Antoine Samuel has joined the team as the new Goaltending/Video Coach. Samuel played four years in the QMJHL with Shawinigan, Baie-Comeau and Quebec. He won the QMJHL Scholastic Player of the Year, the Marcel Robert Trophy, in 2016-2017 and has been the Goaltending Coach for Baie-Comeau for the past two seasons.
Darryl Boyce (Assistant Coach), Ryan Salvis (Assistant Coach) and Marc Theriault (Goaltending Coach) will not be returning to the team.
