
Hawks, Old Country Buffet Team Up for Family Night

EVERETT - Have you ever wondered how much food an offensive lineman can put away in one sitting? This Thursday night, you will have your chance!
The Everett Hawks arenafootball2 team will have their last meal before departing for Fresno, Calif., to take on the Central Valley Coyotes Thursday night at 5:30 p.m. at Old Country Buffet, 4601 200th St SW, Lynnwood. Fans are invited to come and to meet their favorite Hawks, while dining on the wide variety of food the Old Country Buffet has to offer.
Throughout the 2007 season, the Hawks and Old Country Buffet will team up for "Family Night on each and every Thursday night. Hawks players and coaches will be on hand, taking a break from the buffet line to chat with fans and sign autographs free of charge. The Old Country Buffet mascot will also be there handing out balloons to children. A special banana split ice cream station will be set up and children can make treasure chest drawings while they eat!
"It's going to be a nice time for people to bring their families out and meet the players," said Hawks Head Coach Cedric Walker. "We can enjoy and eat dinner with our fans and give everyone a chance to get to know the guys outside of their helmets on a weekly basis."

The Hawks travel to Central Valley this Saturday night to take on the Coyotes at 7 p.m. The Hawks open their home slate at the Everett Events Center on Sunday, May 6, at 3 p.m. against the Central Valley Coyotes.
