Havoc Sweeps Ice Flyers

HUNTSVILLE, AL - The Huntsville Havoc took two games over the weekend from the Pensacola Ice Flyers at home shutting them out 3-0 on Friday and taking a 6-3 win on Saturday.

Friday, December 4 - Pensacola 0, Huntsville 3

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Mark Sibbald was named the Sher-Wood Hockey Player of the Month on Thursday and on Friday backed it up with a 26 save, 3-0 shutout of the Pensacola Ice Flyers.

Paul Falco scored the first Havoc goal when he found the back of the net at the 9:13 mark of the first period.

Mike MacDonald added a powerplay goal with :19 left in the second period and the Havoc had a 2-0 lead after two periods.

MacDonald would add an empty net goal with :48 left in the game to seal the win.

Chad Collins made 19 saves in the loss.

Saturday, December 5- Pensacola 3, Huntsville 6

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Dennis Sicard scored two goals and recorded one assist as the Huntsville Havoc doubled up the Pensacola Ice Flyers 6-3 Saturday night.

B.J. Radovich also scored two goals and added an assist as Jordan Foote and Travis Kauffeldt also scored for the Havoc.

Martin Kubaliak and Nick Monroe both added two assists each while Jeff White, Ray Ortiz, Mike Carter and Dean Petiot all had one each.

Chris Rebernik, Rob Campbell and Mark Hinz all scored for the Ice Flyers.

Mark Sibbald made 40 saves in the win while Ryan Scott made 37 in the loss.
