
Havoc Suffers Two Loss Weekend

HUNTSVILLE, AL - The Huntsville Havoc managed just two goals in two games as they went 0-2 after a 3-0 loss to Louisiana on Friday at home and a 3-2 loss in Knoxville on Saturday night.
Friday, February 4 - Louisiana 3, Huntsville 0
HUNTSVILLE, AL - The Louisiana Ice Gators came into to Huntsville having won one game in their last 24 played, they left with a 3-0 shutout over the Havoc Friday night.
Tobias Karlsson, Eric Tallent and Jason Hill all scored goals for the Ice Gators.
Joss S. Pierre made 26 saves in the win while Mark Sibbald made 19 in the loss.
Saturday, February 5 - Huntsville 2, Knoxville 3
KNOXVILLE, TN - Mark Van Vliet scored with 6:58 to go in the second period breaking a 2-2 and giving the Knoxville Ice Bears a 3-2 win over the Huntsville Havoc Saturday night.
The Havoc scored first on a Kamil Vavra goal with 14:27 left in the first period. The Ice Bears responded with back-to-back goals by David Segal and Frank Furdero to take a 2-1 lead into the first intermission.
Ryan Kretzer scored on the powerplay early in the second period to tie the game back at 2-2.
Dan McWhinney made 31 saves in the loss while Bryan Hince made 30 in the win.
