
Havoc routs Renegades

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Huntsville Havoc scored four goals in the third period on their way to an 8-3 rout of the Richmond Renegades.
Mike O'Sullivan scored his second hat-trick of the season with three straight goals in the final period.
Tristan Senior added two goals while Jonathan Lounsbury, Tim Hockley and Travis Kauffeldt all scored one each.
Senior, Lounsbury and Trevor Karasiewicz all had two assists each, while O'Sullivan, Kauffeldt, Justin Schmit, Bill Monkman, Martin Kubaliak and Luke Phillips all had one each.
Scott Corbett, Dean Jackson and Tyler Schremp all scored for the Renegades.
The Havoc took advantage of 86 Renegade penalty minutes by converting 6-16
powerplays. All three Richmond goals were on the powerplay.
Matt Carmichael got the win by stopping 41 shots. Doug Groenestege stopped 32 in the loss.
The Havoc will host the Knoxville Ice Bears Sunday afternoon at 2:00.
