Havoc releases 2005-06 schedule

HUNTSVILLE, AL -The Huntsville Havoc released their 2005-06 schedule today highlighted by nine Saturday, seven Friday, 10 Thursday games and one Wednesday and one Sunday game.
The Havoc will open the season on the road at Columbus on Friday, October 21st and then travel to Fayetteville on Thursday, October 27th and Knoxville on October 28th.
The home opener is set for Saturday, October 29th against Knoxville when the first 5,000 fans will receive a Havoc Magnetic Schedule. The first 1,000 adults 21 and over on Saturday, November 5th will receive a Havoc cap courtesy of Bud Light.
Once again, all Thursday night games will be "Hockey Night in Huntsville" presented by Bill Penney Toyota/Mitsubishi with $2.00 beers and $1.00 hot dogs and sodas.
All Wednesday and Thursday night games will begin at 7:05 and all Friday and Saturday games will start at 7:35. The Sunday game will start at 4:05.
The SPHL consists of seven teams; Columbus Cottonmouths, Fayetteville Fire Ants, Florida Seals, Huntsville Havoc, Jacksonville Barracudas, Knoxville Ice Bears and Pee Dee Cyclones.
The season will open on Friday, October 21st and end on Saturday, March 18th. The top six teams will make the playoffs with the top seed playing the six seed in a best of five series. The two seed will play the five seed and the three seed will play the four seed in best of the three series. The winner of the one vs six match-up will receive a bye in the championship series while the winners of the other match-ups will play in best-of-three. The championship series will be a best-of-five series.
