Havoc Rebounds With Three Wins

HUNTSVILLE, AL - The Huntsville Havoc rebounded from going 0-3-1 last week to beating Twin City once and Columbus twice over the past weekend.
Thursday, November 27 (vs Twin City) - John Ronan scored two goals as the Huntsville Havoc jumped out early and cruised to a 5-2 win over the Twin City Cyclones Thursday night.
Ronan scored both his goals in the first period as the Havoc held a 2-0 lead at the end of one. Ray Ortiz, Travis Kauffeldt and Karlis Zirnis all scored in the second period and the Huntsville lead was 5-0 at the end of the second.
Twin City got two powerplay goals in the third by Chad Swartzentruber and Allan Sirois.
Tim Haun made 24 saves to get the win. Kevin Druce allowed all five goals and made 18 saves before getting pulled for Terry Dunbar. Dunbar stopped all 12 shots he faced.
Friday, November 28 (vs Columbus) - Ray Ortiz, Edan Welch and Steve Cooke all scored a goal and recorded an assist as the Huntsville Havoc beat the Columbus Cottonmouths 5-2 Friday night.
B.J. Radovich and Tristan Lush also scored for the Havoc. Karlis Zirnins, John Ronan, Pat Doherty, Martin Kubaliak and Travis Kauffeldt all had one assist each.
Tyler Johnson had a goal and an assist for the Cottonmouths. Ryan McCarthy also scored.
Tim Haun made 21 saves to get the win while Chad Rycroft made 42 in the loss.
Saturday, November 29 (at Columbus) - Ross Cherry made 41 saves as the Huntsville Havoc improved to 5-0 agianst the Columbus Cottonmouths with a 2-1 win Saturday night.
Travis Kauffeldt scored his league-leading 15th goal of the season in the first period. John Ronan added a short-handed goal in the second as well.
Roman Marakhovski scored the only goal for the Cottonmouths in the second period.
The Havoc will host Knoxville next Friday night in a battle of the top two teams in points.
