
Havoc Announce Challenge Round Roster

HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA - As the Huntsville Havoc begin the push for the SPHL President' Cup, Head Coach Glenn Detulleo announced the 19 players who will represent the Havoc in the Challenge Round.

The team is anchored by defenseman Stuart Stefan, who holds the franchise record for games played in a Havoc jersey and has played every regular season game with Huntsville for the last six years. He also led the league's defensemen in goals scored this season with 13.
Sy Nutkevitch and Christian Powers are a formidable tandem as forwards, each posting career-high numbers this season. Nutkevitch is one of the top scorers in the SPHL (21g, 41a) and Powers had the second-highest total of goals scored in the league with 28. Huntsville's Shawn Bates also ranks among the top forwards in the SPHL.
The team also boasts a strong contingent of rookie players in forwards Tyler Piacentini, Kyle Sharkey and Stephen Hrehoriak, defenders Derek Perl and Peter Sikalis, and goalkeeper Mike DeLaVergne.
The Havoc begin the Challenge Round with a best-of-three series against the Mississippi RiverKings. The teams played each other in three of the last four weekends and Huntsville finished the regular season series at 5-1-1 against Mississippi.
The first game is on the road in Southaven, Mississippi on Thursday, April 12, at 7 p.m. CDT at the Landers Center. Fans can follow the action on video stream at SPHLlive.com, the Havoc Twitter account or a live radio broadcast on 97.7 The Zone .
Game two will be back in the friendly confines of Propst Arena at the VBC on Pharmacy First Ice. Huntsville hosts the RiverKings on Saturday, April 14, at 7 pm. CDT. If a third game is needed to decide who moves on to the semi-finals, it will be played in Huntsville on Sunday, April 15, at 5 p.m. CDT.
