Haveman Placed on 7-Day DL, LO Activated from High Desert

ZEBULON, NC. - The Jackson Generals have made the following roster moves prior to tonight's 5:15 pm CDT game against the Carolina Mudcats at Five County Stadium. OF Brandon Haveman has been placed on the 7-day disabled list and OF Kuo Hui Lo has been recalled from A+ High Desert.

HAVEMAN, 25 is placed on the disabled list with a hamstring strain suffered in last night's 5th inning. Haveman was batting .271 for Jackson this season with 3 home runs, 3 doubles, 5 triples and 17 RBI in 46 games. With 2 more hits last night, Haveman has recorded six consecutive multi-hit games going back to July 9th. Haveman was 7x11 in the current series with Carolina with a home run and 4 RBI.

LO, 21 returns to Jackson after an 11 game stint with the Mariners Advanced Class-A affiliate High Desert. Lo was batting .261 for the Mavericks with 1 home run, 3 doubles, 1 triple and 5 RBI. This season for Jackson Lo is batting .288 during 25 games with 8 doubles, 4 home runs and 22 RBI.
