Worcester Tornadoes News Release
Although Christmas may be six months away, the Worcester Tornadoes will be getting into the holiday spirit a little early this year. On July 25th, the Tornadoes are celebrating Christmas in July, as the team prepares to square off against the New Haven County Cutters at 7:05 PM.
Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field will be transformed into a scene right out of A Christmas Carol, complete with carolers and the chance to have your picture taken with Santa. The Tornadoes also will be auctioning off their special signed game-worn Christmas jerseys, with all proceeds going to the Worcester Telegram & Gazette's Santa Fund. In addition, with a donation of $10 or more to the Salvation Army, you will receive $2 in Tornado Bucks, good for purchases throughout the ballpark. So come take part in some early holiday cheer courtesy of the Worcester Tornadoes.
Tickets are still available and can be purchased at worcestertornadoes.com, by calling (508) 792-2288 or by stopping at the Main Office at 303 Main Street in Worcester.
