Harris to Join Leiter in SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game

FRISCO, Texas - Frisco RoughRiders outfielder Dustin Harris was selected to represent the Texas Rangers organization alongside pitcher Jack Leiter in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game on July 16th in Los Angeles.

As of July 10th, Harris is hitting .260/.350/.468 with a team-high 14 home runs, 10 doubles, 55 RBIs and 17 stolen bases. The Florida native was named the Tom Grieve Texas Rangers Minor League Player of the Year in 2021 after hitting .327/.401/.542 with 20 home runs and 25 steals over his 110 games between Low-A Down East and High-A Hickory. Harris is the No. 7 prospect in the Rangers system by MLB.com.

In the last SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game in 2021, pitchers Cole Winn and Cole Ragans represented the Rangers in Colorado. Winn, a RoughRiders player at the time, started the game while Ragans - who joined the Riders following the game from High-A Hickory - also threw in the contest.

In the 2019 game, Rangers prospect and former RoughRiders catcher Sam Huff took home MVP honors with a late home run.

The game will be a seven-inning contest on Saturday, July 16th at 6:00 p.m. CST from Dodger Stadium.
