Harris Delivers in Clutch, Sens Win 7-6

The Harrisburg Senators rallied for four games in the bottom of the tenth to beat the Reading Fightin Phils 7-6 at FNB Field. Trey Harris doubled in Jack Dunn and Darren with the tying and winning runs to cap a four-run tenth inning for the Senators. Reading scored three times in the top of the tenth to take a 6-3 lead. Harrisburg began the inning with three consecutive hits on three consecutive pitches. The winning runs scored for the Senators with no outs.

Sixth different Senators took the mound with Ronald Herrera starting the game. Herrera tossed five innings allowing three runs on six hits. Danny Dopico, Malvin Pena, Edgar Garcia, and Zach Brzykcy all pitched scoreless innings. Carson Teel allowed three runs in the tenth but only one of the runs was earned. He became the winner with the Senators rally.

The Senators had just three hits in the game but two of three came in the fourth inning when the Harrisburg capped his three-hit game with the game winning double. He's hitting .318 since joining the Senators. Jackson Cluff and Daniel Johnson both had two hits and RBI doubles. Darren Baker also had two hits and scored twice. Rudy Martin had a pinch-hit RBI single to start the four-run tenth inning rally.

The walk-off win was the sixth for the Senators this season. Oddly enough, all six have come on the weekends with four coming on Sunday. The Senators went 6-for-12 with runners in scoring position. The Senators took the season series from Reading 8-4.
