
HarbourCats Blank Gems 6-0 on Four Hit Shutout

Klamath Falls, OR: July 14, 2013 . The Gems were shut out on Sunday against the Victoria HarbourCats, losing 6-0 as Bryan Conant (Cal State Fullerton) pitched a complete game. It marked only the second time all season the Gems have been shut out, as they mustered only four hits all afternoon. Nick Sabo (Long Beach State University) took his first loss for Klamath Falls this year, falling to 4-1 overall.
L.J. Brewster (University of Hawaii) was the only Gem with more than one hit, as the Gems lost their second straight, falling to 15-17 overall on the 2013 season. The Gems remain in fourth place in the South Division, five games back of the Bend Elks. Victoria improved to 15-13 and move into third place in the North Division.
Gems next home game is Monday, July 15th vs. the Victoria HarbourCats.
