
Bend Elks fall to San Francisco Seals 6-2

The Bend Elks tied the game at 2 with the San Francisco Seals heading into the top of the 7th inning, but the Seals scored 1 in the 7th, 2 in the 8th, and 1 in the 9th to take a 2 game sweep over the Elks 6-2.
For the Elks, Adam Grantham took the ball for Bend to start the game, his 1st start of the summer, and he had a solid outing for the Elks in a controlled start. Grantham tossed a solid 3 and 2/3 innings, giving up 1 run on 1 hit, striking out 4 in earning the no-decision.
For Bend at the plate, Curtis Wildung and Jerren Larimer drove in the 2 runs, scoring Derek Dixon and Tyler Servais respectively, for the only 2 runs for the Elks in the ballgame.
The Bend Elks will be back in action on Tuesday for a league game against the Klamath Falls Gems, first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
