The Mechanics are proud to participate in a "Holiday Hat Trick" of Community Service these next two weeks. The Mechanics are collecting toys for Toys for Tots, collecting gift cards for the Easter Seals, and on Saturday auctioning off Game Worn Holiday Jerseys and an autographed Steve Yzerman Red Wings jersey for the Care House in Mt Clemens.
Thursday, December 1 at 8am, Mechanics Players, staff and Sparky will be at the Macomb Mall in Roseville with Magic 105.1 FM collecting toys for the annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive. Mechanics Players will be available to collect toys, sign autographs and distribute a limited supply of free tickets to the Mechanics December 10th Toys for Tots Teddy Bear Toss game against Quad City. All fans are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear or stuffed animal to the game and when the Mechanics score their first goal everyone will toss their bears on to the ice. All bears will be collected and donated to Toys for Tots. All seats for this game are only FIVE BUCKS! $ 5!!

Friday, the Mechanics face off against the Rockford Ice Hogs at 7:30pm. The first 1000 fans receive a free Mechanics Long Sleeve T-shirt courtesy of St. Joseph's Healthcare, the Macomb Daily and 99.5 WYCD. ALL SEATS INCLUDING CENTER ICE ARE ONLY FIVE BUCKS!
Saturday, the Mechanics face off against their arch rival the Evil Flint Generals at 7:30pm! The first 1000 fans receive a free Mechanics hat courtesy of Fifth Third Bank and 101 WRIF. The Mechanics will be wearing holiday jerseys to be auctioned off after the game to benefit the Care House in Mt. Clemens. Jack Riley, Vice President of Marketing for Fifth Third Bank has graciously donated a Steve Yzerman autographed jersey to be auctioned off on Saturday as well. ALL SEATS INCLUDING CENTER ICE ARE ONLY FIVE BUCKS!
MECHANICS PARTNER UP WITH EASTER SEALS-MICHIGAN FOR GIFT CERTIFICATE DONATION
All fans attending this Friday, December 2nd and Saturday, December 3rd games are invited to bring a gift certificate from the following stores to the Schwan's Fan Assistance Center at the "Garage" to be donated to the Easter Seals-Michigan Organization. The stores include: ---Meijer, Kmart, Kroger, Farmer Jack, Target Wal-Mart, Suit Warehouse, Old Navy, Home Depot, Lowe's, Sam's Club, Best Buy, Circuit City, Toys "R" Us, Babies "R" Us, CVS, Walgreens, Mobile, Amoco, Sunoco, and BP. All gift certificates collected will be donated to the Easter Seals- Michigan Organization. Easter Seals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for more than 80 years
