JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Hao-Yu Lee hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the BlueClaws a 4-3 win over Aberdeen on Thursday night. It was the second straight walk-off win for the BlueClaws.
Jersey Shore has now won five of their last six games and earned their sixth walk-off win of the season. Lee's double scored Erick Brito, who began the 10th inning at second base, with the winning run.
Konnor Ash (1-0) escaped the jam in the top of the 10th and earned his first win as a BlueClaw.
The BlueClaws jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the second inning on an RBI single from Jared Carr and took a 2-1 lead in the fourth on an RBI single from Nick Ward.
Aberdeen took their first lead on the night in the sixth, scoring twice off Jason Ruffcorn. Collin Burns' RBI single tied the game and Elio PRado followed with an RBI single to give Aberdeen a 3-2 lead. On that play, however, Marcus Lee Sang threw out Burns at the plate, who was trying to score from second base.
Jersey Shore then tied the game in the bottom of the sixth on an RBI double by Anthony Quirion.
Lee and Ward finished the game with four hits each. Rincones Jr. and Carr each had two hits.
Cam Wynne threw two scoreless in relief, as did Carlos Betancourt. Starter Mitch Neunborn gave up one run in three innings.
The teams continue their series on Friday night at 7:05 pm. LHP Rafael Marcano starts for the BlueClaws.
