Tonight, the Niagara IceDogs hit the road to face off against the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Early in the first, Jake Uberti gets a bounce off one of the Bulldogs defensemen and puts one in the net. Hamilton is able to even it up on their power play.
After 20 minutes, the score sat at 1-1.
The second period saw a battle between the two teams, with lots of scoring. Hamilton got one early in, but Niagara was able to return it and add another on the power play. It was back and forth, as Hamilton got two late in the second.
After 40 minutes, the score sat at 4-3 in favour of the Bulldogs.
Danil Gushchin was able to get one early in the third to tie the game. However, this was returned by the Bulldogs, who later scored an empty netter to take the victory.
The final score was 6-4 Bulldogs.
