CORPUS CHRISTI - Ben Anderson delivered six innings of one-run ball Wednesday night, leading Frisco to a 3-1 victory over Corpus Christi at Whataburger Field.
Alex Santos II turned in a strong start for CC, scattering two hits and three walks over five innings.
The RoughRiders were supported by a pair of lead-off triples that rendered runs in the second and sixth. Nine-hole hitter Cooper Johnson chipped in with a two-out solo home run in the fifth.
The Hooks were held to five hits, including a 383-foot home run by Quincy Hamilton that landed in the pool in right field in the second.
Jordan Brewer record two singles in three at-bats.
After permitting a run at the start of his outing, Jose Fleury dispatched 11 of 13 Riders to finish four quality frames of relief.
