Gwinnett Stripers News Release
The series between the Gwinnett Braves and the Syracuse Chiefs has been put on hold because of weather in the Syracuse area. On Sunday, the teams were supposed to play the continuation of Saturday's game and a 7-inning game which would have been the finale of their four-game set.
The completion of Saturday's contest is tentatively scheduled for June 17 at 6:05 p.m. - which would be followed by their regularly scheduled contest on that day. Gwinnett is in front of Syracuse 4-2 in the top of the 5th inning. It has not yet been determined when Sunday's game will be made up.
The only other time the two teams are scheduled to play each other this year is June 17-20 at Coolray Field.
