
Grrrowl forward traded to Pride

GREENVILLE, SC â The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL, proud affiliates of the Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers, have announced two players transactions. MICHAEL CHIN (F) has been traded to the Pee Dee pride for financial considerations, and MATT HARTNEY (G) has been released.
CHIN (6-2, 210lbs., Urbana, ILL native) played the final 34 games of the 2003-04 season with the Grrrowl after starting the season with the Cincinnati Cyclones and Dayton Bombers. He totaled 41 points (24G, 17A) in 73 total games last season.
HARTNEY (6-1, 175lbs., Burnaby, BC native) came to camp with the Grrrowl on a tryout agreement for this season's training camp. Hartney last played for the University of Saskatchewan.
The Grrrowl will open the 2004-05 schedule with a home game on Friday, October 22, 2004 (opening weekend presented by Verizon Wireless) against the Charlotte Checkers.
