Published on July 17, 2006 under Frontier League (FL)
Gateway Grizzlies News Release
The Gateway Grizzlies game against the Rockford RiverHawks was suspended because of poor weather Monday night in Rockford, IL.
The Grizzlies had the bases loaded with no one out in the fourth inning when the game was called initially due to lightning. Rockford is leading the game 2-1.
Monday's game will be resumed starting at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. The two teams will then play the second game of the three-game series at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday evening. That game will be a seven-inning game.
