
Grizzlies Return Home For Eight Games, Locked In Battle For First

Fresno, CA - The Fresno Grizzlies return home to Chukchansi Park Tuesday night to begin an eight game homestand, leading off with a four game series against the Portland Beavers and concluding with four games against the Las Vegas 51s, Pacific Coast League affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fresno enters the homestand just one game back of Sacramento and Tucson, who are tied for first in the PCL's Pacific South Division.
Tecate Taco Tuesdays, presented by Tecate and 95.7 The Fox, will start and end the Grizzlies' seventh homestand. On both June 19th and 26th, fans can enjoy $2 tacos all game long and $2 16 oz. Tecate beers until 7:35. The Fresno Bee's Season Ten Special on Wednesday June 20th gives fans 12 and under, 55 and over, and all military with valid ID the opportunity to purchase tickets for just $1. All fans will be able to take advantage of great Grizzlies team store deals on Wednesday, as 3 items will be available for $10. Thursday night needs no introduction, as 104.1 FM presents another installment of Thirsty Thursday. $1 beers will be on sale until the end of the 5th inning and sodas are just $1 all game long.
On Friday, June 22nd the Grizzlies will present another epic Friday Night Fireworks show, presented by Together Rx Access. Friday night will also be the Grizzlies' inaugural Pink at the Park event, benefiting the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a Pink Tote Bag, while on the field the Grizzlies will sport Pink Themed Jerseys which will be up for grabs in a postgame live auction. The first 1,000 fans on Friday will also receive Rally Towels, courtesy of Rally's.
Saturday night marks the highly anticipated return of Grizzlies Beach! That's right; The Grizzlies will be building their very own beach at Chukchansi Park and celebrating a huge Beach Bash. To commemorate the occasion, the first 2,500 fans will receive Beach Towels, courtesy of Fresh California Peaches, Plums, and Nectarines.
With the 51s in town all weekend, the Grizzlies will welcome Dodger legend and 2-time All Star Game MVP Steve Garvey at Sunday's 6:05 game. Dubbed the "Iron Man" for his NL record 1,207 consecutive games played, Garvey will be on hand for a free autograph session courtesy of the Fresno County Tobacco Prevention Program. Following the game Kids Run the Bases, presented by Del Taco, and all fans will be invited down on the field for a postgame viewing of baseball movie classic "The Sandlot" on the Chukchansi Park videoboard.
Monday Madness returns on June 25, presented by Wienerschnitzel. 2 tickets, 2 hot dogs, and 2 sodas are available for just $14.
