Zephyrs/Redhawks Suspended
June 18, 2007 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
New Orleans Baby Cakes News Release
The game between the New Orleans Zephyrs and Oklahoma RedHawks was suspended on Monday due to a 4:30PM CT curfew to allow the Oklahoma RedHawks to make their flight out of New Orleans. The RedHawks were leading 8-4 in the top of the ninth inning at the time of suspension.
The game will be completed when Oklahoma returns to New Orleans in August. Statistics accumulated in the suspended game will not be counted until the game is officially completed.
PCL league rules specify that a game must be suspended and cannot be called due to a time curfew.
