Utah Grizzlies News Release
West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley today announced that he has issued qualifying offers to eight players for the 2012-2013 season. Players who signed contracts prior to this past season with either Utah's NHL affiliate the Calgary Flames or any other AHL teams are not eligible to be qualified by Utah.
Four of the eight players receiving qualifying offers have played two seasons of pro hockey or less and were acquired by Utah during this past season as the team finished the regular season as the hottest team in the ECHL's Western Conference at 8-3-0-1 from March 7-31.
