FLORENCE, Ky - Tonight, the Florence Freedom, presented by Titan Mechanical Solutions, will play host to the Gateway Grizzlies at UC Health Stadium with first place up for grabs in the Frontier League's West Division.
Both teams enter tonight with matching (4-2) records, good for a share of first place in the West, and a half game lead on the number two River City Rascals (3-2).
Florence will send reigning Frontier League, "Pitcher of the Week," Steve Hagen (1-0, 0.00 ERA), to the mound opposite Gateway Grizzlies' southpaw Max MacNabb (1-0, 1.50 ERA), with first pitch slated for 6:05 p.m.
This best of three weekend series will conclude with a day-night doubleheader on Sunday, May 20, beginning at 2:35 p.m. at UC Health Stadium.
