
Griffins Set for Winning Wednesday, Giveaways

Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011 vs. Lake Erie Monsters
Time: 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.).
Winning Wednesday: The popular Winning Wednesday presented by Amway returns for the first time this season. If the Griffins beat the Lake Erie Monsters, each fan in attendance will receive a free ticket to the next Wednesday game, Nov. 9 vs. Rockford. Additionally, the first 200 fans to visit the Amway table in Section A will receive a free t-shirt.
Clingz Schedule Giveaway: The first 2,500 fans will receive a Griffins Clingz schedule.
Library Night: For every Sunday and Wednesday game, fans can present their Grand Rapids Public Library card or Kent District Library card at the Van Andel Arena box office on the night of the game or at The Zone anytime during the store's regular business hours to save $7 off the price of a Lower Level Faceoff ticket (regularly $18 in advance and $20 the day of game). Limit four tickets per card per person, subject to availability.
Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011 vs. Charlotte Checkers Presented by Delta Imports
Time: 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.).
Feels Like the First Time: This game marks the first-ever meeting between the Griffins and Checkers.
Calendar Giveaway: The first 5,000 fans will receive a free 2012 Griffins team calendar, courtesy of Delta Imports.
Quick Change: Returning to Van Andel Arena for another season, the act featured on America's Got Talent known as Quick Change will perform during the second intermission.
Faith and Family Chat: The Griffins will host a post-game chat with questions and answers about faith and family with Griffins players, presented by Appletree Christian Learning Center.
Post-Game Open Skate: Bring your skates to the rink and take to the ice after the game for the J&H Family Stores Post-Game Open Skate.
Post-Game Autographs: Select Griffins players will sign autographs following the game from the Griffins bench, presented by Huntington Bank.

Reading Goals: Children with Griff's Reading Goals bookmarks who have completed the required three hours of reading can redeem their bookmark for two free upper level tickets to this game.

Advance ticket prices are $14, $16 and $18 in the arena's upper level, and $18, $22, $26 and $32 in the lower level. (Additional $2 per ticket on day of game.) For Sunday-Thursday games, a limited number of advance-purchase, upper level tickets will go on sale for just $8 one week prior to each contest.
Social Media Specials: Special discounts on lower and upper bowl tickets are often available for fans that follow the Griffins on Facebook and Twitter.
